Andrea is an experienced litigator with a concentration in business and fiduciary litigation. She joined the Firm after 12 years with a large law firm. Andrea focuses on representing companies and individuals in matters involving breach of contract, fraudulent misrepresentation, property claims and breach of fiduciary duty. She also litigates and counsels clients regarding guardianships, powers of attorney and trusts. She has significant experience representing banks, lending institutions and utilities in matters regarding consumer and regulatory law.
Andrea regularly handles cases in Virginia and federal courts as well as mediations and arbitrations. In 2014, Andrea successfully argued a case before the Virginia Supreme Court involving intestacy succession in Virginia, Sheppard v. Junes, 287 Va. 397 (2014).
After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Andrea spent a year volunteering at Legal Services for the Elderly in New York, where she advocated for senior citizens in matters regarding housing, health insurance and benefits. She has represented veterans and non-profit child protection agencies in numerous pro bono matters.
